Between the towering buildings of Tianfu First Street, the Tie Xiang Si Water Street is built adjacent to the Tie Xiang Si Temple, leaning against the Xiao Jia River. Here, one can find a rare leisure and relaxation in the south of the city. In the eighteenth year of the Ming Dynasty's Wanli era, a cast iron statue of Sakyamuni was excavated here, and a temple was built to enshrine it, hence the name Tie Xiang Si Temple. Tie Xiang Si is one of the few remaining Ming Dynasty temples and was once the only nunnery for the Han ethnic group in the region, with a profound historical and cultural heritage. However, unlike the ancient charm of Wenshu Fang, the commercial district built around the ancient temple, Tie Xiang Si Water Street has a more trendy vibe. The businesses introduced in the water street are mainly restaurants, with tea houses, Western restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and private kitchens scattered along the streets, interspersed with a few fashion boutiques. The San Hua Academy quietly opens by the water. At night, when the lights are first lit, the lights along the waterway make the creek even more tranquil, and the bars occasionally emit rock or pop music, but it is not noisy at all.
