Remember to make a reservation, especially during the summer holidays! We arrived at the museum around 10 a.m., did not hire a tour guide (there are free guided tours in the morning and afternoon), and rented an audio guide for 40 yuan with no time limit. The staff recommended a tour route from the 2nd floor to the 5th floor, then to B1. When we saw the crowded tour groups on the 2nd floor, we decisively rushed to the 5th floor and decided to tour in reverse order. Sure enough, at this time most of the tour groups were on the 2nd floor for detailed explanations. The 5th floor had much fewer people, and then we followed the route from the 5th floor to the 2nd floor, and finally went to the B1 floor. This tour route had relatively fewer people. The 1st floor now has a special exhibition that requires a separate ticket to enter. The theme is 'Tracing the Jaguar: Ancient Mexican Culture Exhibition'. I was not very interested, so I didn't go in. Each floor of the museum has a cultural and creative shop, each floor has a stamp station, and each floor has resting seats. I personally think the cultural and creative gifts are exquisitely made and reasonably priced! The overall feeling of the Chengdu Museum is that the layout is very comfortable. Although there are many people, it is not annoying to visit. It is worth visiting when traveling to Chengdu!
