📍 Village Turtle Turtuk is a small village in Latakh district adjacent to Pakistan, only 12 km apart. It was once owned by Pakistan. Before coming under India in 1971, the people in this village were all Islamic. Maybe because of the remote distance from Nubra and the journey is not very convenient, Turtuk village still retains a lot of originality.
