Opened its first River North cafe this week (306 W. Erie St). Fairgrounds serves a variety of coffee, tea, elixirs, breakfast handhelds, sandwiches, salads and snacks. Pictured: 🍒 Cordial Cortado - rich espresso and steamed milk melted with a cherry cordial (holiday special) 🍯 Sticky Chai Latte - fresh chai soaked in buckwheat honey (holiday special) 🍳 Egg and Cheese Sammy - scrambled eggs, American cheese, sport pepper aioli, brioche bun I absolutely loved all three of the items above. The limited edition holiday menu also includes other goodies like Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Mayan Mocha, and Chestnut Cookie Butter Toast. Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea River North is open daily until 6pm for dine-in, takeout or delivery. The indoor cafe is decorated beautifully and so cozy.
