Each park is like a treasure trove of art, full of fun public art installations. The green river runs through the city center, with restaurants lining the banks. Sit down at any one of them, sip your coffee, and watch the boats and rowers on the river. Wow, the feeling is truly indescribable. 🎨The Art Institute of Chicago is an absolute paradise for art lovers. It's the second largest art museum in the United States, and I couldn't even finish exploring it in an afternoon. The collection is so vast and impressive. It includes works by masters such as Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Manet, Andy Warhol, and Dalí. 🏙️The city center is full of charm. Art museums, the Cloud Gate in Millennium Park, the largest Starbucks, the ticket booth/boarding point for architectural tours, the river running through the city center, the many bridges connecting the banks, Trump Tower, and various brand stores are all gathered here. As long as you have the energy to explore, these attractions will naturally appear before your eyes. 😋Food is another highlight. 👉Volare Restaurant's seafood stew Grigliata Mista has a lot of squid, and the tomato cream squid ink spaghetti Spagahetti Neri al Pescre is my favorite. However, I think the lasagna Lasagna is just average. The portions are really big, and three people can't finish these dishes. 👉Xiang Yuan is also very good. I went there alone and only ordered beef rice noodles and stinky tofu. The beef rice noodles were amazing, and I couldn't stop eating them. The stinky tofu was crispy, and it was almost identical to what I ate in Changsha. I believe the other dishes will also be delicious, and the service is also very good. It's located in Chinatown, Chicago's Chinatown, which has a great atmosphere. You can go there for a stroll. ☕️Swada Coffee is said to be opened by a famous Japanese coffee latte artist. The two most famous drinks are Black Camo Latte (roasted green tea coffee) and Military Latte (matcha latte). To be honest, I didn't taste much difference between them🥹. 🚆Transportation is quite convenient. Download a ventra app, which can be used for buses, subways (cta), and metra. You can purchase a day pass or top up your account based on your needs. Although there may be occasional delays, it's still a good option overall. 💕In short, Chicago is a truly charming city.
