Hongya Cave, originally named Hongya Gate, was one of the ancient city gates of Chongqing. It is located at No. 88 Binjiang Road, Jialing River, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. In 2003, with a total investment of 385 million yuan, the old city area of Hongya Cave underwent demolition and renovation. It was completed and opened for business in September 2006, serving as a tourist area with functions such as sightseeing, leisure, and vacation. Hongya Cave is a key landscape project in Chongqing, with a construction area of 46,000 square meters. The main attractions consist of stilted buildings, an antique commercial street, and other landscapes. Hongya Cave has a total of 11 floors, with the lights turning on at 6 pm and off at 10 pm.
