Yes, what we didn't expect was how reluctant we would be to leave this journey. Looking back now, the impact is still profound. We miss the unique scenery each day, the different gourmet food, and the varied programs... For us who grew up by the Yangtze River, the river has always held an important place in our hearts. This time, we chose a luxurious cruise through the Three Gorges. Let's talk about our impressions first. 🔸【Overall Impressions】 1. Sailing experience: We didn't expect the cruise to be so quiet and stable, true to its all-electric propulsion. When we encountered other cruises or docked at the pier, we could hear the loud noise from the other ships and see their smoke upon departure, but our cruise was free from that (real experience). 2. Dining experience: Teacher Cheng said he felt like he gained several pounds on the cruise, haha. We discovered that the restaurant's cuisine was different every day, and they even included the 'Chongqing Flavor 360 Bowl' gourmet IP dishes created by the Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Committee, which were super abundant. We couldn't stop eating. A small detail that touched us was that the restaurant staff remembered our 'preferences' from the first day and always recommended dishes that suited our tastes. 3. Excursion experience: When going on excursions, we needed to swipe our room cards twice, which let the crew know if everyone had returned to the ship. This was a great feature, and we thought 'this is so suitable for parents, no need to worry too much, and it made me want to experience it again.' Also, before disembarking for each excursion, everyone was given bottled water, and upon returning to the cruise, we were greeted with hot towels to wipe our hands. If you felt too tired to visit the shore attractions, you could rest on the ship, where the onboard cinema would play movies. 4. Itinerary experience: We found the itinerary particularly rich, not only with shore excursions but also with the captain's welcome cocktail party and cultural performances on the cruise. Time seemed to fly by every day. 5. Accommodation experience: This time we stayed on the 6th floor of the cruise, and each room had a viewing balcony. At night, we watched the faintly visible mountains on both sides from the balcony, feeling the river breeze, and it was just too beautiful. 6. Other experiences: Besides these, we found that the ship also had KTV, a cinema, a children's play area, a book bar, and other areas to meet the needs of different groups of people. It's worth mentioning that you can also visit the cockpit, which is great for kids to learn something new. In August, there's even a summer parent-child voyage, which is fantastic. There will be late-night snacks on the ship, which can be pre-ordered at 20:00 and prepared after 22:00. 2. There is an onboard photographer throughout the trip to capture moments, and on the last day, we picked out several of our own photos, which is an additional charge.
