The best family-friendly hotel in Chongqing I spent two days at the Meliá Hotel with my child this weekend. I was very satisfied with the environment, facilities, activities, and service. My child also had a great time. The Meliá Hotel is on Tieshanping Mountain. You can navigate to the hotel name. It's only a 30-minute drive from the city center. Food The hotel offers a buffet, lakeside BBQ set meal, Spanish seafood paella set meal, Chinese food, and more. The seafood buffet is CNY 298 per person. There is a wide variety of food, and the supply is fast. The price is a little expensive, but the breakfast is good. Accommodation Check-in at the hotel lobby is fast, and there are clowns giving balloons to children, which is a great experience. We booked a lake view twin room. The terrace is large, and the view is great. The room is well-equipped, with toiletries and slippers for children. The air conditioner is quiet, and the bedding is comfortable. We slept well at night. Activities The hotel has three swimming pools, one outdoor pool, and two indoor pools for adults and children. Free swimming rings are provided, but some swimming rings and equipment are charged separately. There are bubble music parties in the morning, afternoon, and evening on weekends, which is the most anticipated event in summer. There are also many free family-friendly handicraft activities, as well as an entertainment center with go-karts, archery, and a game room. You can also rent a bike, kayak, or canoe. There is a family marathon on weekend mornings.
