Step into the world of Howl's Moving Castle – Colmar, France

I'd always heard that Colmar was the birthplace of the Statue of Liberty and the inspiration for Miyazaki Hayao's *Howl's Moving Castle*. I finally arrived in this town as winter approached and the Christmas spirit grew stronger. As the wooden huts of the houses slowly came into view, I knew—I was stepping into a fairytale. The streets were adorned with gold and red Christmas decorations, as if the entire town was counting down to Christmas. Colmar isn't a big city, but every corner seemed specially decorated for the holiday—even the wooden windows of the houses were hung with teddy bears, red bows, and pine branches—it was so adorable. I really want to experience this fairytale world for myself someday.
