Temyong's Talaba

When it comes to great places to visit, Cebu really has plenty of unassuming diamonds in the rough that you can be glad to discover. Mang Temyong’s Talaba Farm in Tayud, Consolacion is one of those and boy was I glad to learn of this place. It is just basically a small collection of stalls constructed from wooden and nipa materials and some of the best grilled oysters I’ve tasted are served there! Perched on a narrow stretch of property surrounded by a mangrove swamp, it was very quiet and breezy when we arrived. Plus, their very affordable prices made us feel really rewarded that we braved the heat to get there. The popular Co Jordan restaurant is just nearby, by the way, and when we passed by, it was very crowded. We skipped it gladly because, as mentioned, it was very hot that day and we were not really up to the challenge of mixing with the crowd at Co Jordan. When we got to Mang Temyong’s, we were so glad we were the only customers in the vicinity. We enjoyed grilled oysters peacefully and it was just perfect!#awesomepic #foodie #seafood
