Another name is call Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve is 181 km from Auckland. Places to visit included Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove Walk and etc. I came mainly for this 2 places, Hot water beach, the Coromandel. It a heated mineral water from the sand, you come here before low tide can check on the website, then dig a hole to become your own spa pool. Driving here see a lot of beautiful scenery, my accommodation is Hot water beach top 10 holiday park, is a walking distance to the beach, nice chalet with parking lot beside.
