#Overseas travel A visit to Cusco was a magical experience reflecting ancient Peruvian culture. The city, once the capital of the Ancan Empire, retains fascinating historical details as you wander through narrow cobbled streets and beautiful colonial buildings. The Plaza de Armas was the heart of the city, where I sipped a cup of hot chocolate at a café. I enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and the San Blas with their magnificent inscriptions and stunning architecture. The atmosphere at the local market selling handicrafts and souvenirs was also lively. A visit to Cusco was an opportunity to discover the rich history and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.
