With around 10,000 exhibits spread across 500 square meters, there's so much to see! From everyday items like food, spices, and hygiene products to quirky collectibles like old cameras and even a DDR gas pump, it’s a treasure trove of nostalgia. You can explore rooms that recreate a typical DDR living space, complete with furniture and decor from the '60s, '70s, and '80s. What to look out for: Everyday Life Exhibits: Check out how people lived with items like washing machines and kitchen gadgets from the era. Kids' Corner: Little ones can play with original DDR toys in a special children’s room. Unique Displays: Don’t miss the impressive collection of over 600 different schnapps bottles—it’s a sight to behold! The museum is open from March 31 to October 30, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 12 PM to 5 PM.
