|The first Four Seasons Hotel in Northeast China, perfect for a summer retreat. For many people like me who have lived in Beijing for a long time, or for those of you who live in northern cities that are not by the sea, coastal cities in the north such as Qingdao and Dalian always exude a charming allure. Dalian, as a representative coastal city in the Northeast and the most developed city in the region, offers not only mountains and seas but also distinctive cuisine and culture (the seafood here is really delicious, highly recommended; also, don't miss out on Dalian's Japanese cuisine, it's top-notch) which makes Dalian a famous tourist city and an important summer retreat. In early 2024, the first Four Seasons Hotel in Northeast China and a new addition to the Four Seasons Hotel Group in Greater China will open its doors in Dalian, adding a sparkling update to the list of luxury hotel brands in the region; although it is newly opened, the hotel's prices are very competitive. Stepping into the bright and towering 41-story lobby, you are greeted by exquisite crystal snowflake chandeliers, as if boarding a train to a snowy country; entering the rooms, the coffee-colored floors and yellow leather furniture feel like wandering in autumn, as if the warm sun is giving warmth. No wonder the official statement says that the Four Seasons Dalian is themed around the four seasons, indeed, seeing is believing, and staying is even better. You can take a look at my actual photos. As mentioned earlier, Dalian's high-end Japanese cuisine is very cost-effective, and the first Omakase in Dalian is also entrusted to the Yotsuba Residence at the hotel. The sushi master who served us previously worked at a luxurious five-star hotel in Macau, presumably a high-paid recruit, haha. The master chef's carefully prepared dishes are all spectacular, showing the chef's sincerity and respect for each ingredient and guest. In the evening, don't miss the Harbour Bar on the 41st floor. It's very retro, with a feel of the great age of exploration. I especially recommend the seats by the window, where you can overlook the night view of Dalian, recommended! As summer approaches, if you're thinking about a city vacation in Dalian, the Four Seasons is a great choice. Consider it!
