The most romantic sea stone scenery in Dalian, a billion-year-old love letter from Earth

Last week, I happened to be on a business trip to Dalian, so I also visited Jinshitan Geological Park. Because the schools have started and it was a working day, there were very few tourists. The sea is far from the crowded beach resort area. Here, the sea is vast, calm, and open, with the afternoon sea surface sparkling. Under the azure blue water near the shore, you can see various shapes of reefs. There is a section of coastal wooden boardwalk that is the most stunning place, built along the cliff, next to a huge stone pillar. The wooden boardwalk and the sea level in front of you make you feel like you have instantly traveled to the Mediterranean. The stones here remind people of the splendid colors of Zhangye Danxia. Different components of rock layers have been covered and stacked over hundreds of millions of years, and then fractured, twisted, and disappeared under various forces... Those who come for the scenery say the stones here look like 'five-flower pork,' while those who study the stones can read the geological epic of day and night alternation and millions of years of changes. At the 'Crab Legs' of 'Crab General Mobilization,' there is a naturally formed stone arch bridge. Many people just skip this area, but if you go down the steps, you will find a different world. Through the arch bridge is a small shallow beach surrounded by cliffs—the fierce sea wind has carved these cliffs sharp and broken; the waves crash one after another, and the nearby reefs are clearly visible. This place has a sense of being isolated from the world, making it perfect for shooting Robinson Crusoe. The geological park is about 1.5 hours' drive from downtown Dalian, but once you arrive, listening to the waves and the birds singing in the forest by the cliff, occasionally encountering a cat, you become one with nature.
