Autumn is the perfect time to explore Wudang Mountain, a colorful journey to the sacred land of Taoism.

Stretching over 800 kilometers, Wudang Mountain is the birthplace of Taoist culture and a sacred place for countless martial arts fans. The ancient trees reach for the sky and the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, earning it the title of "the first fairy mountain in the world" since ancient times. Wudang Mountain has different scenery in each of the four seasons, but autumn is the most pleasant. The autumn wind blows, and the top of the mountain changes into colorful clothes. The red leaves are like fire, the yellow leaves are like gold, and the green leaves are like jade. The forest is dyed in layers, like a poem and a painting. There are 33 palace and temple buildings on the mountain, including the Golden Summit, Zixiao Palace, and Nanyan. The Golden Summit is the soul of Wudang Mountain. It enshrines the Emperor Zhenwu. The roof of the golden hall is a heavy eaves pavilion. The lights in the hall have been on for 600 years and are shining. Zixiao Palace is magnificent and is one of the best-preserved ancient buildings in Wudang Mountain. Every year on March 3 and September 9, grand Taoist activities will be held. Nanyan is a palace on a cliff and the largest existing stone hall in Wudang Mountain. The dragon head incense is breathtaking. Travel strategy: It is recommended to arrange two days to visit Wudang Mountain in depth. On the first day, start from the visitor center and visit Taizi Slope and Zixiao Palace to feel the profound Taoist culture. On the second day, get up early to climb to the Golden Summit, watch the sunrise and sea of clouds, and then go to Nanyan to experience the thrill and beauty on the cliff. TIPS: 1. The climbing roads of Wudang Mountain are mostly step-shaped and have a large slope. Remember to wear a pair of comfortable shoes. 2.
