Hiking to Xiantai Temple in Dayi

Xiantai Temple is located on Xiantai Mountain in Yanxia Town, Dayi, and is a tranquil Taoist temple. Utilizing the mountain terrain, several large halls were built on the ridges from the foot to the top of the mountain, making it appear quite large. Park the car at Xiantai Mountain Cemetery and hike 1.8 kilometers to Xiantai Temple. Along the way, it was discovered that the once green grasslands had been converted back to farmland, revealing large areas of yellow soil, which is said to be planted with wheat. For us, it is somewhat regrettable, and we hope to see the wheat waves blown by the wind next year. Take the small path on the right side of Xiantai Temple to climb the mountain, and you can reach the top after about 1 kilometer, ascending 160 meters. The journey is very quiet, encountering goats and running wild boars, fully enjoying the fun of the wild mountains. The mountain path is a dirt road, and it is not recommended to go on rainy days. Finally, return to the cemetery from the stone bridge path below Xiantai Temple, covering a total distance of 6.2 kilometers, taking 3 hours.
