Fukuoka Dazaifu Tenmangu: The Sacred Site of the God of Learning

Lastly, the various local delicacies available in the surrounding shopping street add to the enjoyment of visiting Tenmangu. The famous 'Umegae Mochi,' a sweet rice cake shaped like a plum blossom, is particularly delightful with its subtle sweetness. Walking along the paths while savoring this treat, one can't help but feel that Tenmangu and its surroundings are perfectly harmonious.
