Travel Guide to Mount Song: Shaoshi Mountain & Taishi Mountain

✅ Mount Song is divided into three scenic areas: Shaolin Scenic Area, Songyang Scenic Area, and Zhongyue Scenic Area🧐. In other words, if you want to climb the entire Mount Song, you need to climb two mountains😏~ 🙋‍♀️Shaolin Scenic Area: Includes Shaoshi Mountain, Sanhuang Village, Dharma Cave, Martial Arts Hall, Pagoda Forest, and the Second Patriarch's Temple😃. 🙋‍♀️Songyang Scenic Area: Includes Taishi Mountain, Songyang Academy, Laomu Cave, Junji Peak, Fawang Temple, and Songyue Pagoda🤩. 🙋‍♀️Zhongyue Scenic Area: Mainly Zhongyue Temple (❗not highly recommended for visiting). ▫️If you only have one day😕, you can choose either Shaoshi Mountain or Taishi Mountain. ▫️If you have two days😃, you can go to Taishi Mountain on the first day, stay at the foot of Taishi Mountain overnight, and go to Shaoshi Mountain on the second day. After finishing Shaoshi Mountain, there are buses🚌 back to the city. ❌Note: There is no cable car on Taishi Mountain🚡. ⭐Taishi Mountain Route: Songyang Academy Trail - Laojun Cave - Junji Palace - Zhongyue Palace - Sanhuangkou - Junji Peak Summit - Return the same way😎. (Do not descend via the Luya Waterfall route, or you will have to climb from 8 am to after 3 pm😫) ⭐Shaoshi Mountain Route (Preferred Route: No backtracking, difficult first then easy): Sanhuang Village Scenic Area - Hero Slope - South Heaven Gate - Sanhuang Village - Liantian Suspension Bridge - Ceshuyan - Shaolin Cableway - Downhill Entrance - Take the cable car down - Shaolin Temple Scenic Area - Return to the city🤩. ✍Tickets: Choose tickets according to the scenic area💰. ❗Note: - The temperature at the top of the mountain is low.
