Sunac Splendor Hotel Chengdu Stay Experience For my trip to Dujiangyan in Chengdu, I chose the Sunac Splendor Hotel. The reason for choosing this hotel was simply its high cost-performance ratio. Firstly, the price. When I booked, it was over 600 yuan, for a lake-view king room with two tickets to Sunac Park and breakfast for two. As a five-star hotel, just considering the price, the value for money had already reached its peak. Secondly, its proximity to various attractions is a plus. It's a 10-minute drive to Dujiangyan, about 15 minutes to Panda Valley, around 30 minutes to Qingcheng Mountain, and even closer to Sunac Park, just a 10-minute walk away. Experience: 1. Room type: A two-meter-wide bed, sofa, and a balcony with a lake view, offering a very open vista. The bathtub is equipped with a bubble bath and a disposable bathtub liner, and the toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. The bed is very soft, providing a comfortable sleep. 2. Breakfast: The breakfast variety is quite rich, combining Chinese and Western styles, with chefs making Sichuan specialty noodles and other dishes on the spot. The ingredients and taste are definitely not inferior, reaching the standard of a 150 yuan buffet in Shanghai. 3. Location: As I mentioned earlier, it is close to all the major attractions. Whether you're going to Sunac's own attractions (such as Hot Snow World, Sea World, or Sunac Park) or to the various spots in Dujiangyan, it's very convenient. 4. Service: From my experience, the service was satisfactory. I arrived at around 8 am, and couldn't check in yet, so I left my luggage at the front desk and went to Panda Valley first. I returned to the hotel around noon and checked in directly. The next day, after checking out and going to Sunac, I still left my luggage at the front desk and picked it up after having fun before heading to the next city. This is a very good experience for tourists. 5. Other: The hotel also has its own hot spring pool. With the current weather, taking a hot spring bath is absolutely possible, and very comfortable!
