Dunster Castle was great 🇬🇧

#uktrip Visiting Dunster Castle in Minehead was like stepping back in time! 🏰 This stunning medieval fortress, perched on a hill, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Bristol Channel. The entrance fee was around £14, which I found to be quite reasonable for everything it offered. As I walked through the ancient halls and explored the beautiful rooms filled with antique furniture and historic artifacts, I couldn't help but imagine the stories and lives of the people who lived here. The castle also has a lovely garden, which was perfect for a peaceful stroll 🌸🌳. One of the highlights was the picturesque watermill at the foot of the castle, still working and grinding flour today! It was fascinating to watch the mill in action and learn about its history. Nearby attractions include the charming village of Dunster itself, with its old-world charm, cobbled streets, and delightful tea rooms 🍰.
