Another life goal achieved at the Pyramids

I entered through the north gate at 8:00 AM, walked for 30 minutes to reach the photo spot, and exited the area by 9:45 AM. The weather was perfect (mid-October), though the sun started to get a bit strong after 9 AM. I highly recommend visiting the Pyramids between 7-8 AM when it's less crowded and the weather is pleasant. The camel teams, which charge one dollar, start working after 8 AM, so when I reached the classic photo spot, they were just passing by, giving a real desert-crossing vibe! 🏜️🐫 🎫 Ticket price: 540 Egyptian pounds/270 (half-price for students), available for purchase on-site or online. If you go early, it only takes a minute to buy. 📍 Entrance location: El Ahram Police Station, which is the address for the north gate. You can ask the driver to drive a bit further, or walk 3 minutes to the entrance (the ticket office is right next to the entrance). It takes about 30 minutes by taxi from Liberation Square in Cairo (motorcycle rides are cheaper, I paid 20 RMB for a round trip). 🏃 Walking route: Enter through the north gate 👉🏻 Khufu Pyramid 👉🏻 Khafre Pyramid 👉🏻 Menkaure Pyramid 👉🏻 Panoramic viewpoint 👉🏻 Sphinx 👉🏻 Exit through the east gate. 📷 Classic photo spots: On the map, look for "Panoramic view." I visited two spots: "Panoramic2," where you can capture five pyramids (as shown in my pictures 1 and 2), and "Panoramic View of the Giza Pyramids," where you can capture six pyramids (as shown in my picture 3). Even if you're not taking photos, the view is stunning and offers a different perspective than looking up at the pyramids. ‼️ Important advice: 1. Ignore everyone in the pyramid area except fellow tourists. Especially be wary of local people's kindness (remember, there's no goodwill in the area). If they help you with anything, they will expect payment (unless you don't mind). 2. Don't rely on Google Maps for navigation; it suggests long and winding road routes. Just follow the general direction and walk through the desert; it's safe and no one will bother you. 3. Don't trust anything offered for free inside the area. 4. Don't believe anyone near the entrance who says "it's closed." 5. The pyramids close around 4-5 PM, so you can't see the sunset. Either go early for fewer crowds and comfortable weather, or visit between 2-3 PM to avoid the intense sun between 11 AM and 2 PM. #Travel #Tourism #WorldTravel #Egypt #Pyramids #Cairo #EgyptTravel
