One of the Seven Wonders of the World: The Great Pyramid of Giza

Last night, I slept for less than three hours and felt extremely tired, so I'm jotting down a brief travel log. First stop: the Pyramid; the only remaining wonder of the ancient world. It was the tallest structure in the world for 4,000 years until it was surpassed by either the Ulm Cathedral or the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. I'm a bit unsure which one, so I'll verify it later. Second stop: the Sphinx; Third stop: the Grand Egyptian Museum; Fourth stop: lunch, enjoying local Egyptian cuisine; Fifth stop: Sakkara Archaeological Park to see the world's first pyramid: the Step Pyramid. #Egypt #EducationalTravel
