Ejin Banner Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Ejina Populus Euphratica Forest Tourist Area Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Morning veiw and reflection of the scene make it imaginary. I was totally surprised to see the beautiful veiw during the sunrise. Populus Euphratica Forest in Ejina. The populus euphratica is one of the few trees which can live in the desert thanks to their strong vitality. They can survive where there is little water and rain , or in a climate with extremely high or low temperatures.
Please make an appointment this fall: you must see Golden Populus in your life!
still remembers the scene of crazy running in Erdaoqiao Huyanglin. The heartbeat is accented with excitement and reaches the extreme. Every cell is boiling, seeing, saying, Can't describe it, here is God!
The Populus euphratica of the Ejina Banner is the oldest type of poplar tree that began to live on Earth more than 130 million years ago due to its amazing drought resistance, suffocating sand and salt-tolerant The ability to survive and multiply in the desert is praised as a "desert hero tree."
"Life and the millennium is not dead, death and the millennium does not fall, but the millennium is immortal", before and after 3 thousand years, the immortal annual ring and the lush foliage in the distance, how many cycles, continue in this land.... ..
Hu Yanglin Park, the most beautiful forest area
1 a bridge
a bridge scenic area is quite large, fewer people are scattered: the leaves are full of land, the year of " "Hero" is a view of this, a cluster of clumps, quiet and deep, completely integrated in this piece of forest
a dried Populus euphratica from the inside out, rooted in the sand, never fell, branches The dry is still quite extended...
2Xiling District
Although it is a scenic area, it is still a primitive appearance. This 5A is definitely the most I have ever seen. good!
With the extension of the path, the "golden" began to appear: the Populus euphratica here, some branches are connected into pieces, some are bent into the stream, each posture is different, each strain contains a different meaning of life
3Donglin District
This piece is the core of the entire Populus euphratica forest. It must be down in the blue sky during the day, and a large reflection forest is fascinating! Hu Yangs graceful posture, its not too much to look at!
Repeatedly echoed this sentence: "burn it, golden little universe"! Climb the trunk, the feet are naturally placed away from the ground, without the restraint of the ground, let go of any baggage, and relax, looking at the poplar forest through the sun, indulging in the golden world, the feeling is wonderful and the tide is tidal
4
The oldest Populus euphratica here, there is an immortal torso, here are the characters and poses that you cant capture in the city...
The old trees still stand. The gestures have not changed, and the change is the alternation of the sun, the moon and the stars!
Sunset, not just the sunset itself, the scenery under the afterglow is also a highlight! With the gradient color intertwined with the blue sky as the background, the corners and corners of the weekdays have become the protagonists, and the daggers are in a pose, and there is no style...
Tips:
The best time to watch the golden color of Populus euphratica is from early to mid-October every year. It is also a good time for a holiday when the National Day is high and cool!
Go to the Ejina Banner, one is self-driving, one is to the local free-running group, this group basically all-inclusive traffic, pure play! There is also a kind of traffic that is quite difficult for yourself!

Ejina Poplar Forest
Ejina Poplar Forest is located in the Ejina Oasis of Ejina Banner, Inner Mongolia. Each autumn, it welcomes the best season to appreciate the poplars. At a glance, the golden leaves dance under the sunlight against the azure sky, presenting a moving spectacle. The most renowned is the beauty of the golden autumn poplars, which possess an astonishing ability to resist drought, wind, sand, and saline-alkali conditions, allowing them to survive and thrive tenaciously in the desert. Hence, they are praised as the 'hero trees of the desert'. People extol the tremendous vitality of the poplars with the saying 'three thousand years', meaning they live for a thousand years without dying, stand for a thousand years after death, and remain undecayed for a thousand years thereafter. This place is a photography paradise for many enthusiasts, and a vast expanse of golden poplar forest always attracts tourists to visit in this autumn.

Juyanhai Lake Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
I finally made up for the regret that I passed through Juyanhai two years ago and did not enter the scenic spot: It turns out that it is worth a visit!
Juyanhai Alashan in Inner Mongolia, although called "sea", is actually a lake. A clear blue lake, surrounded by spectacular reeds, with broom-like flowers on the top, in the glow of the rising and curtaining, each one is set with a golden glow. Splendid in the desert of the desert.
There are thousands of red-billed seagulls flying in the sea, or flying in the air, or resting in the reeds, lakes, or playing with people. As the sun rises slowly, the red-billed seagull screams through the sky, adding vitality to the sleepy night of Juyanhai. Red-billed gulls, they are completely not afraid of people, swaying along the plank road, interacting with the tourists who came to watch the sunrise, enjoying the pleasant life here.
This trip is accompanied by Rui Kang, and Wei Wei happens to send guests from Jiuquan, so we met with our two full-time drivers, the last time (when I met) It was Hulunbeier in eastern Inner Mongolia in 2015. This time, in the Ejina Banner in western Inner Mongolia, we all have stories with Inner Mongolia...

Waiting for the sunrise at Juyanhai is truly wonderful
Juyanhai is the terminal lake of China's second largest inland river, the Heihe River, and was one of the largest lakes in the northwest in prehistoric times, as well as one of the four great desert lakes in China. Water birds and reed marshes are its two treasures, with the lake's clear waves rippling and the heavy reed flowers in the vast reed marshes bending the branches and swaying in the wind. Various water birds inhabit here, and the Juyanhai wetland is an important passage on the migratory route of migratory birds crossing borders. The morning sun shining on the reed marshes has a unique charm. Blue sky, white clouds, clear water, reeds, seagulls, sunset, every moment is breathtakingly beautiful. The azure lake water, the dense wetlands, and the graceful poplar trees in the distance form a unique landscape between the north side of the Badain Jaran Desert and the 800-mile Gobi no-man's land to the west.
The Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei's verse 'A solitary smoke in the vast desert straight, the long river sunset round' was created at Juyanhai. When the wind rises in Ejin, the sand falls in Beijing city. In the early years, the sandstorms in Beijing in spring were very severe. The expedition team traced the wind upwards and went west to investigate the source of the sandstorm, and found that the historically famous Juyanhai had almost dried up, and the historically famous oasis had almost been desertified, with large areas of poplar forest dead. After years of management, Juyanhai now covers an area of more than 60 square kilometers, with clear waves on the lake surface and reeds growing on the lakeside, with the morning glow and seagulls flying together. Therefore, watching the sunrise at Juyanhai has now become a tourist hotspot.
Ejina Banner: Watching the sunrise over Juyanhai
📍 Juyanhai is actually a lake with a large water area. It is the second largest inland river in our country - the terminal lake of the Heihe River, located about 40 kilometers north of the Ejina Banner in the Alxa League of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
🌟 Juyanhai was called Juyan Ze during the Han Dynasty and Juyanhai during the Tang Dynasty. Originating from the Heihe River deep in the Qilian Mountains, it flows through the three provinces and regions of Qinghai, Gansu, and Inner Mongolia for more than 800 kilometers, and then merges into two Gobi depressions on the northwest edge of the Badain Jaran Desert, forming two large lakes, east and west, collectively known as Juyanhai.
🌟 Due to climate change, insufficient water resources, and other factors, the west and east Juyanhai dried up in 1961 and 1992, respectively. By 1999, the river channels within the territory of Ejina Banner had experienced over 200 days of disruption, leading to problems such as declining groundwater levels, shrinking oasis areas, and increasing sandstorm weather.
🌟 'The small Juyanhai is connected to Zhongnanhai.' The rapidly deteriorating ecology of the Ejina region has attracted high attention from the Central Committee of the Party and the State Council. The State Council has held several meetings to study the ecological construction of the Heihe River Basin, and in 2000, the water of the Heihe River finally flowed into the dried-up East Juyanhai. Since 2005, East Juyanhai has achieved historical continuity without drying up.
👍 Juyanhai is a must-visit spot for tourists to Ejina Banner·Alxa. The lake oasis in the vast desert wilderness is very eye-catching, especially in the early morning light, when the lake surface, aquatic plants, birds, and joyful tourists form a beautiful landscape under the shining sun and moon.
📝 Note tips: The sunrise is around 6:30 in the morning, and the temperature is about 10°C. Get up early to hit the road and wear a coat!

More beautiful than Crescent Lake, half desert, half lake, 99% of people have never appreciated it
When it comes to lakes in the desert, many people first think of Crescent Lake. 😎 But today, I want to share with you these lakes and sand mountains that are even more beautiful than Crescent Lake and more attractive than the Mingsha Mountains! Half lake, half sand, it's like the Sahara Desert! 🤩 Completely natural and undeveloped, truly hidden and unknown! Less than 1% of people know about it or have reached it! It's hidden in the Badain Jaran Desert of Alxa League!
"Desert sands like snow, Yanshan moon like a hook," here, the desert is vast and boundless, and the lakes are like dazzling pearls. 😲 This is probably one of the places with the densest concentration of lakes in the Chinese desert! In December 2019, the Badain Jaran Desert - Sand Mountain Lake Group officially applied for World Natural Heritage, striving to fill the gap of desert types in our country's World Heritage! Deserts are generally lifeless due to lack of water, but here, sand mountains and lakes coexist harmoniously!
🤗 The lakes in the desert are called 'Hai Zi', because they have the same color as the sea! Standing on the dunes and looking down at the 'Hai Zi', it's like a string of gemstone necklaces dropped onto the desert! 😜 Walking to the lake and looking up at the dunes, one can't help but marvel at their majestic beauty! "The lake's autumn moonlight matches its calm surface, like a mirror unpolished," the lake is extremely tranquil, with aquatic plants growing leisurely, bringing a bit of vitality; the dunes stand quietly, embracing the 'Hai Zi' tightly. They are like lovers, accompanying each other through the years. The golden dunes gently extend into the lake, where yellow meets blue, making me, a travel expert who has seen all the beautiful scenes in the world, exclaim in amazement! 😮 It's near the Badaoqiao Scenic Area in Ejina Banner, but 99% of people have missed it!
✨ Here come the attraction recommendations!

2️⃣ Badain Jaran Temple: This temple built on the dunes is so unique, a landmark of the Badain Jaran Desert! The temple houses Buddhist deities, and many local believers come here for pilgrimage 🧐.
3️⃣ Yindeertu Divine Spring: This is definitely one of the most magical attractions in the Badain Jaran Desert, with spring water miraculously emerging from the dunes, forming a clear pool surrounded by green vegetation, truly amazing 👏!
4️⃣ Bilutu Sand Peak: It's the highest dune in the Badain Jaran Desert, with an altitude of 1611 meters, from where you can take in the magnificent beauty of the entire desert 🤩!
😋 Can't miss the food recommendations!
1️⃣ Hand-grabbed mutton: This is a traditional delicacy of Badain Jaran, made with fresh mutton as the main ingredient, cooked with many spices, and eaten directly with hands, the taste is fresh and delicious, and the meat is super tender!

【Precautions】
🔹1️⃣ When entering with an off-road vehicle, be sure to remember the phone number of the convoy, keep your phone fully charged, as the driver will return after dropping you off, and call the convoy after you finish playing, and the vehicle will enter again to pick you up for the return trip! (In principle, where you get off, you get back on for the return trip, as the dunes in the Badain Jaran Desert are quite high and there are few suitable areas for parking)
🔹2️⃣ You can go light when going to the desert, be sure to bring your phone, and bring enough water, as water loss in the desert is quite fast, and prepare some dry food!
🔹3️⃣ The ultraviolet rays in the desert are super strong, with no cover, so be sure to do physical sun protection, and it's best not to enter the desert at noon!
🔹4️⃣ Walking in the desert can be tiring, pay attention to your physical strength when climbing dunes, and enjoy the lakes according to your ability, it's not recommended to play for more than 2 hours at a time.
🔹5️⃣ Be sure to travel in groups, return before sunset, as there may be wolves at night!
🔹6⃣ Don't get too close to the lake for play, to prevent getting stuck in the mud!
🔹7⃣ If you feel unwell, call the convoy phone to return in time; if you encounter wild animals, try to stay away!

China has a desert that is famous abroad, yet little known by its own people
🌈 In the northwest, there is a magical desert with more than one hundred and forty lakes of various colors, which is very charming. This place is the Badain Jaran Desert. It has been named the most beautiful desert in China by 'Chinese National Geography' and is famous abroad, but little known to the Chinese people. The sand dunes in the desert have very beautiful lines, with various curves crisscrossing and constantly changing. The tall sand mountains are steep and majestic, with the Bilutu Peak standing at 1617 meters as the world's tallest sand peak, with a relative height difference of about 589 meters, earning it the nickname 'Everest of the Deserts'. Therefore, it has also become a sacred place in the hearts of many desert off-road pilgrims!
🔥 It is already a wonder to have lakes in the desert, but the lakes here are not only numerous but also colorful and dazzling. When sand dunes, sand peaks, lakes, light and shadow, homes, reeds, and various animals are interwoven, the scene is like a beautiful painting, as if entering a fairy tale world! Some lakes turn red due to a type of microorganism, and the color changes with the seasons (various shades of red) and dances with the light, so that every visit can be a delightful surprise! At the beginning of summer, the melting ice and snow from the Qilian Mountains gradually fill the desert with water, making it the most beautiful time (pink color). Even so, each lake has its own temperament, and the color changes according to its own character. Some lakes are the reddest in May and June, while others are the most beautiful in August and September. If you want to capture their most stunning moments, you have to wait for the best light...
🔵 Ways to play: Off-road vehicles, most people visit for 2 days, requiring a chartered vehicle. It is easy to get stuck and lost in the desert, so an experienced driver is needed.
🍜 Food and accommodation: There are campsites by each lake for dining and lodging, and the accommodations usually have air conditioning and private bathrooms.
⚠️Tips:
🌿 Remember to take pictures of the Milky Way, count the stars, and watch the moon at night, it's incredibly romantic
🌿 People with a history of motion sickness should not participate
🌿 When exactly do the red lakes turn red? This is related to the water level and light. Some are very red in May and June, while others are in August and September
🌿 The weather is hot, pay attention to sun protection and hydration
🌿 Drone perspectives are better

Heicheng Historic Site Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The Heihe River was called weak water in ancient times, and there was a thousand-year-old Xixia Blackwater City site in the lower reaches of the Heihe River.
From the Jinta to the Heihe River, I found that the beautiful scenery mentioned in the original book is always true in the unknown. There is a lot of grass on the road, the sand is on the road, no one is on the road, one car Galloping in the desert, the mysterious and ethereal and real existence, lonely but not alone in the vast land of the vast Central Asia, from the Golden Tower to the Heihe, from the gentle road to the off-road desert, if you need to reach the highest point, you need to cross the desert After experiencing the wind and sand, you can appreciate the beauty of this non-human.
After reaching the high point of the Heihe River, the first thing I saw was this deserted wild land. Looking east, the endless sandstone was like a huge sand table, operating the whole scene. The victory of the war, but turned into a river of weak water, where you can see 150 kilometers of weak water like a giant python leaping between Pingsha, standing here, overlooking the whole piece The weak water is surrounded by the tide. Looking westward is a scene of sand and sky. The yellow sand in the distance is like the sea. Sometimes the sea water (gravel) is flying, and sometimes the wind is smooth (sand).
The beauty of Heihe is like a rose with a thorn, and the mandala is poisonous. Although the road is difficult, once it arrives, it will be convinced by this enchanting scenery, immersed in it and can't extricate itself. At that time, I finally realized it. Everything is worth it.
ps If you want to reach the Heihe River, it is recommended that the off-road vehicles go up because this section is desert sand dunes.
Blackwater City is one of the best preserved ancient Xixia ancient city sites on the Silk Road. The Mongolian language is called Harahot, also known as the Black City. It is located on the desert on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Ejina River (Blackwater), 25 km southeast of Dalai Kubu Town, the seat of the Ezra League Ejina Banner Government. Part of the Juyan culture. The reason why Blackwater City is called "black water" is because there was a black water river here before the Yuan, and the inland lake was built in Yanhai. In the Han Dynasty, after the Xiongnu was driven away, there was a garrison in Putian. Now Ejina becomes the Juyan site. And the Blackwater City Protection Base has become a tourist scenic spot.
The Ejina Black City was built in the Xixia period. It is the only city known today to be named after the party language. It is also the most complete and grandest ancient city site on the ancient Silk Road. Among the many buildings in Blackwater City, religious architecture is a major feature of this ancient city. You will surely notice several overwhelming stupas standing on the northwest corner. Under the blue sky, the pagoda is quiet and distant. This is a unique symbol of the Black City and a relic of the Xixia Dynasty.
In the place where the Ejina Banner is located in Dalaihubu Town, about 30 kilometers away, there is a well-preserved ancient city site, Heicheng. Although the Black City has been eroded by sandstorms for nearly a thousand years, the sands piled up to the top of the city wall, but it is not difficult to see its majestic appearance. In the northwest corner of the city, there is a well-preserved earthen tower with a pointed top and a round shape. It is tall and straight, and there is a Qianlong-style building in the southwest corner of the city. It is basically intact and is an Islamic mosque. The official offices, streets, and houses in the old city are faintly discernible. Among the local Turkite Mongolians, there is a story about this ancient city. According to legend, a long time ago, there was a Mongolian general named Black Hero, who built the town. Over time, this city is called the Black City.

In ancient times, Wenhao had a lot of eternal sings for the deserted desert. It felt like there was no desert, they just lost their creative inspiration. Therefore, when standing on the desert and looking at the sunrise, I feel that I am also a great writer. Wen Si is like a spring, ah, ah, ah, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! !
, there are not many people who want to know it, but if Zhang Yimou is mentioned as the movie "Hero", two red and white women are desperate in the red world flying in the sky, my heart is broken, good What are the men? Why bother? Yes, that place is the Erdaoqiao. However, what is the relationship between Erdaoqiao and Badaoqiao?
In fact, the most northwestern part of Inner Mongolia, Ejina has two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight bridges, all of which have 3,000 years of undead Hu Yanglin. The bridge is the most populous, with rivers passing by, and the eight bridges belong to Ejina and Bataan. The edge of the Jilin desert is dominated by desert, but the scenery is invincible.
Tips: Before and after the National Day is to appreciate the most beautiful season of Populus, but pay attention to avoid the peak of travel, contact the hotel in advance, or you can only sleep in the desert of Badaoqiao.
