Xiao Young's Self-Driving Trip - Fengcheng Hot Springs

A place where the entire town is filled with hot spring hotels, we booked the Dandong No. 12 Courtyard Hot Spring B&B in advance. The contact with the B&B owner made us feel very reliable, and the experience was really great. The front desk lady was particularly enthusiastic, helping us with our luggage and giving a detailed explanation upon check-in. She was all smiles when I asked for this and that, and she even helped us communicate with the security guard to open the gate when we were leaving, which was very warm. The room was very large, as we booked a family room for the three of us. The overall style was Japanese, with very spacious tatami mats. The scent in the room was the light fragrance I like, very fresh without any odd smell. There were two pools, one inside and one outside, so the three of us could soak in the hot springs while drinking tea and chatting at the same time, which was really nice~ The temperature of the hot spring water was around 40 degrees Celsius, which made us sweat slightly. After bathing, our skin felt smooth. Oh, and their shower gel smelled so good! We all soaked in the outdoor pool, which was very photogenic, and you could ask for candles and wine glasses. Before going, I asked the owner about places to eat, and the owner confidently said that their meals were delicious. Breakfast was free and could be eaten on the second-floor restaurant from 8:00-9:00, one serving per person. The kitchen auntie was also very enthusiastic, telling us to ask for more if it wasn't enough. Everything was very exquisite. Lunch and dinner had to be booked an hour in advance on the phone, and it was really tasty! And very affordable! Especially the Sukiyaki pot, it was only 35 yuan! Folks, a full Sukiyaki pot! Such a bargain!.. Lastly, about the surroundings of the hotel, there is a mountain spring nearby where many people go with buckets to fetch water. It's worth a visit, and on the way there, you can pass by volcanic rocks. The residents or tourists there all seem to be people you wouldn't want to mess with, maybe I'm biased against the uncles and aunties. If you're driving, the road to the hotel is not very good, full of potholes. This town is very close to the Dandong city area, so if you have time while visiting Dandong, it's still worth a trip
