Fengdu Ghost City

Fengdu Ghost City, formerly known as Fengdu Ghost City, was anciently called 'Bazi Biedu'. It was established as a county in the second year of Yongyuan of Emperor He of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of nearly 2000 years. It is located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Fengdu County downstream of Chongqing City, facing the new Fengdu county town across the river, covering an area of 0.45 square kilometers. The famous mountains of Fengdu Ghost City include Fengdu Famous Mountain, Guiguo Shengong, and Shuanggui Mountain. There are many ancient temples on the mountain, with a total of 27 temples. The later constructed Guiguo Shengong is a dynamic man-made landscape. Inside the palace, modern means such as sound, light, motion, electricity, plastic, and laser are used to vividly display nearly 200 'ghost' stories of Fengdu 'Ghost City'. Shuanggui Mountain faces the Famous Mountain, and its main attractions include Luming Temple, Su Gongci, Enlai Pavilion, Confucius Temple, etc.
