On the 4th day, visit Phoenix Ancient Town. It takes less than an hour to take the bullet train from Zhangjiajie Railway Station to Phoenix Ancient City. However, the station is relatively far from the city center. After getting off the train, you can take a bus or light rail to the city center (personally, I don't recommend it, it's not interesting) to the ancient town. Visiting the ancient town at night is indeed better than during the day. The night view of the ancient town is very photogenic. If you want to take photos, you can buy a photo package by the water, which ranges from a few hundred to thousands of yuan. It's up to you. There are performances on the water, but the one I saw was just a few fixed poses for people to take photos. There are many people by the water, and there are many bars. There are indeed bar scams, so be careful. There's not much to say about the ancient town, it's mainly for taking photos. The food is not very special, the rice noodle shops are okay, but not unique. It's all commercialized! Overall, the trip to Zhangjiajie was great in terms of scenery, but there wasn't much special food. Accommodation is not expensive, but the overall cost is not low, which is understandable since it's a tourist area.
