Mt. Fuji Sightings

#japantrip One of the best places to get a picturesque view of Mt. Fuji, Lake kawaguchiko can be done as a day trip from tokyo or even overnight stays. It's a nice short trip away from Tokyo, makes for a nice scenic walk around the lake. You can take the cable car ride or hike up and down as some do to get the best view of Mt Fuji. The best way to get there from Shinjuku, especially if you have big bags, is to take the bus. You won't need to drag the luggage back and forth like the train or run around to find room when crowded. and designated luggage area fills up fast. I say so, because i have experienced both modes with a big bag. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants, and even a fruit market, where you can grab a bite to eat and drink along the way. Renting a bike from one of the hostels near the lake is also a very good idea to explore the vicinity #japantrip #flowerlover
