Heavenly Lake of Tianshan, a dazzling pearl beneath Bogda Peak.

Heavenly Lake of Tianshan is located in Fukang County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 60 km from Urumqi. It is a natural scenic area centered on an alpine lake. Bogda Peak is 5,445 meters above sea level, with year-round snow and glaciers, like a beautiful jade woman standing above the lake. Heavenly Lake is located on the upper reaches of the Sango River on the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains, with a lake surface elevation of more than 1,900 meters. The lakeside forest is dense and the grass is green. According to the different altitudes, it can be divided into glacier snow zone, alpine subalpine zone, mountain coniferous forest zone and low mountain zone. It is a national 5A scenic spot.
