The Encounter of Art and Nature: A Two-Day Trip to Fukuoka Art Museum

Day 1: Immersed in the River of Art In the morning, I arrived at the Fukuoka Art Museum located next to Ohori Park. This modern building harmonizes with the natural environment, making it a paradise for art lovers. The museum's exhibits cover a wide range of art from ancient to contemporary, including Eastern Buddhist art, Western classic paintings, and modern design pieces. I lingered for a long time in front of Monet's 'Water Lilies,' the soft brushstrokes making me feel as if I were standing by a pond in France. In the afternoon, I visited a special exhibition by local artists, whose works exuded a rich Fukuoka flavor that felt very familiar. Stepping out of the museum, the sunlight reflected on the lake in Ohori Park, and the serene scenery extended the artistic experience. Day 2: Breathing Art in Nature The next morning, I once again set foot on the trails of Ohori Park, jogging along the lakeside, feeling the fresh air and the surrounding natural beauty. Then, I returned to the outdoor garden of the Fukuoka Art Museum to admire the creative sculptures, especially an installation art piece themed on the coexistence of nature and humanity, which was thought-provoking. I took a break at the museum's café, enjoying the garden view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, with sunlight casting a golden glow on my coffee. This two-day journey of art and nature allowed my soul to settle, marking a perfect end to my trip to Fukuoka.
