Fuzhou ——————————————————————— DAY1️⃣ Fuzhou Station➡️All Seasons Hotel➡️Three Lanes and Seven Alleys➡️Yantai Mountain We stayed at the All Seasons Hotel on Wuyi North Road. Overall, it was pretty good. The All Seasons hotels we stayed at during previous trips usually had a green tea or red tea scent, which we liked, but this one had a cumin grilled meat smell on the fifth floor, kind of like body odor? The room itself was fine though. 😗😗🫡 The first stop was Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. We dropped off our luggage and went straight to lunch. · Wangzhuang Ami: Three dishes for two people, total ¥145 Captain's Fish Dumplings 👍👍👍👍👍👍 The filling inside the fish dumplings was delicious, and the skin had a bit of chewiness, different from regular dumpling skins, very tasty!! Lychee Pork 👍👍👍 Actually, it felt like another version of sweet and sour pork? It seemed to have sweet potatoes inside. Eating too much can be cloying, but not eating it makes you crave it. Sea Clam Omelette 😩 Honestly, OMG, I think it shouldn't be like this. It was very wet and bland, and it wasn't the egg-heavy type seen online. Instead, it had more clams and could only be eaten with the sauce, otherwise, it was really hard to eat. After that, we strolled around Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, stopping and walking. There were many alleys, and we learned about its history, but it was super crowded. Later, we went to Dongbai for a bit, which is a large shopping mall similar to in77. The second stop was Yantai Mountain. It seemed to be a 9-minute subway ride? I forgot (Oh right! Recently, Fuzhou's subway rides are free! The people of Fuzhou are so kind). We seemed to have gone up from the foot of the mountain, then zigzagged down again? Everyone should wear comfortable shoes to play here. When we reached Yantai Mountain Commercial Street, we originally wanted to eat at Cui Jiang's, but it was too crowded, so we opted for takeout (only Ele.me delivery was available. Later, it rained heavily, and the delivery was half an hour late, but I think it's understandable, given the thunderstorm. The food was still hot when it arrived. 😉😉) ¥71 We chose to go back via the road through Jiefang Bridge. Because of some construction, we took a huge detour past Jiefang Bridge. It was beautiful when lit up at night, and then it started pouring rain. Special Hotel Edition (The rain was too heavy, so we ordered takeout) · Tang Mo Cha Xi ¥28 A must-try 👍👍👍👍👍 (Happy) Very fragrant pistachio flavor, I love it! (Mo Lv Sheng Xiang) Also very fragrant · Cui Jiang The taste is very special, Langweixian is really a unique flavor, but I couldn't handle more than three pieces. Half a portion is definitely enough for two people. 👍👍👍👍 DAY2️⃣ Hotel➡️Lao Ge's Home Cooking➡️Dongbai It rained a bit in the morning, so we decided to order takeout and sleep in. · Wu Ji Pan-fried Buns ¥24.3 Wow, their pan-fried buns are really as big as a fist. No wonder they sell for five yuan each. They were okay, pretty standard. I ordered a bowl of fish balls, which tasted a lot like the meatballs we have here. · Lao Ge's Home Cooking ¥118 We ordered stir-fried intestines with wine lees, Yongtai smoked duck, and stir-fried clams. None of them were disappointing. The stir-fried intestines had a slightly salty taste with a hint of sweetness.
