Ganzhou, a city with a history of over 800 years, is full of life

Ganzhou is a waterfront city in Jiangxi Province with the most preserved cultural relics, especially those from the Song Dynasty, earning it the reputation of 'Song City in the South of the Yangtze River'. During the day, the ancient floating bridge is photographed with three times zoom on the city wall, and pedestrians on the bridge are observed through the mobile phone screen. At nine o'clock in the evening, people walk across the floating bridge, where every few boats have a fishing enthusiast fishing at night. The floating bridge, which was built during the Qian Dao period of the Southern Song Dynasty and has a history of over 800 years, is 400 meters long, connecting the two banks of the Gong River. It is made up of more than 100 small wooden boats, supported by the buoyancy of the boats, and rises and falls with the river. At the head of the bridge is a miniature fish market, with fishermen selling fish on the boat. At night, the dried fish glows faintly under the reflection of the fishing fire. It is said that there is a small morning market. On the river side of the Jianchun Gate, snack stalls will appear in the evening. In the past, when water transportation was busy, the floating bridge would be disconnected twice a day to allow ships to pass. Now, only at special moments, the 'river crossing and bridge dismantling' will be carried out.
