These stone niches and statues were opened in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Northern Song Dynasty, and there are also later and modern statues. The huge reclining Buddha was built in 1998, which will also become a cultural relic in the eyes of future generations. The statues around Guangfu Chanlin Temple still have 8 Tang Dynasty statues, one of which is called priceless by Mr. Shen Congwen, and there are also Song Dynasty Huayan Three Saints stone niche statues. Although Tongtianyan scenic area is not as shocking as the famous mountains and rivers, it has thousands of years of historical memory; although it is not as famous as the northern grottoes, it can also fully win the reputation of "the first grotto in the south of the Yangtze River". Tour time and tips: The tour route is divided into inner and outer rings. The inner ring includes the statues divided into five rocks and takes 2 hours; the outer ring includes climbing and circling the lake. If you walk well, it takes 5 hours. The mountains here are not high, the scenery is very good, and there are small shops selling water and packaged snacks. It is recommended to bring some food, and water can be bought on site.
