The Iconic Historical Mansion in Penang

#penang Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, also known as The Blue Mansion (张弼士故居, 蓝屋) is located in 14, Lebuh Leith, George Town, Penang. Owned by Cheong Fatt Tze, a famous businessman in the late Qing Dynasty. This beautiful 19th-century mansion is listed as the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site. The main design of building is a combination of Chinese Hakka & Teochew architectural, with the exquisite wood carvings, Qing porcelain and furnishes, plus Western-style structures and courtyard, the Chinese & Western cultural are perfectly combined. Their indigo-blue outer walls make it a very distinctive building, unique and elegant! Nowadays, The Blue Mansion is a quaint boutique hotel and musuem, I was visited as a museum guest, joined the scheduled guide tour, the tour guide was interesting and knowledgeable, highly recommend for a visit. Daily Guide Tour : Monday - Sunday 2 sessions daily (11am & 2pm) Ticket: Aldult : RM 25, children : half price.
