Cruising at high speeds (no speed limits in parts!), we felt an incredible sense of freedom. One of our first stops was Neuschwanstein Castle, with an entrance fee of about €15. The view of this fairytale castle against the Bavarian Alps was simply breathtaking. We continued through the scenic Black Forest, stopping for delicious local cuisine—flavors as rich as the views. On the way, we explored smaller towns like Freiburg and Heidelberg, each filled with cobbled streets, old architecture, and cozy cafés. One of the highlights was the Rhine Valley, where vineyards and castles line the riverbanks.
