Fengyantun Ancient Village, Gongcheng, Guangxi.

Fengyantun is an ancient Yao village with over 480 households and 1,500 residents. The main surnames in the village are "Feng" and "Fang". Most of the existing old houses were built after the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. All the old houses in the village are built close to "Feifeng Mountain", which looks like a giant bird. The houses face south and the doors face the "Fengtou" in the east. The halls, courtyards, and rooms of each house are all flat and long, with a width of no more than 2-3 meters. There are many arcade buildings in the ancient residential complex of Fengyan Village, which show a strong Yao style and are also a perfect fusion of Yao and Han culture. According to the genealogy of the Fang family in the village, in the late Kangxi period, the ancestors Hou Chang and Hou Sheng moved from Qianjiadong to Fengyan to reclaim wasteland, and now they have reached the 15th generation.
