Sasamat Lake weekend hiking

On the west coast of Canada, there are abundant forest resources, and thousand-year-old virgin forests can also be seen in the bustling city center. A famous attraction in this primitive forest is a giant tree that requires 20 adults to encircle it. This time we came to Sasamat Lake, about 30 kilometers away from downtown Vancouver in "Port Moody". Here, surrounded by mountains and towering trees that can block out the sun, even if the temperature outside is 30 degrees, as soon as you enter the forest, the temperature can drop by a few degrees, making it one of the best outdoor activities in summer. Moreover, the walking path here belongs to the beginner stage, without steep slopes, and anyone can easily cope with it, which is very suitable for adults to bring children to participate together. If you get tired of walking, you can also sit by the lake, eat something, chat, and have a great time. Address: 3302 Senkler Rd, Belcarra BC V3H 4S3 Cost: Free Transportation: Self-driving (paid parking lot)
