Dafo Temple is located in the bustling area of Beijing Road in Guangzhou City, originally established during the Southern Han dynasty, initially named 'Xinzang Temple'. During the Ming dynasty, it was known as 'Longzang Temple'. In the third year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing dynasty (1664), the Prince of Pingnan, Shang Kexi, donated funds to rebuild the temple and cast three large bronze Buddhas inside, hence the name Dafo Temple. To this day, Dafo Temple is still undergoing restoration and expansion, with its artistic standards surpassing those of the past. If you're visiting Beijing Road, don't miss out!
