Trip to Guangzhou

This is my first travel note, and my first time to Guangzhou and Zhuhai. I made the travel guide myself. It's a family trip with elderly and children, so here are some small suggestions for reference! 🚗🚗🚗Travel route: We set off from home, took a morning flight and arrived in the afternoon. After checking in, we went straight to the Canton Tower. We rented a car! Day1: Yongcheng Hotel (Guangzhou Panyu Branch)→Canton Tower I highly recommend this hotel, which is also a Mecure. The rooms are new and clean, the breakfast is rich, parking is free, and parking in Guangzhou is expensive! There is a porridge restaurant next to the hotel, which is quite good, but a bit expensive! Day2: Chimelong Bird Park→Zhengjia Square Business and Tourism Area You must go to see the bird show at the Bird Park, there are so many birds, it's spectacular. The mall is very large, you can choose freely. There is a Tao Tao Ju restaurant where you can eat! Day3: Chimelong Wildlife World I suggest going during the off-peak season. During the peak season, there will be traffic jams at the entrance. We arrived at 10:30 and there were a lot of people on the small train. The train is a separate area, you can also drive yourself for 350 yuan per car. We walked all the way and it wasn't too tiring. The food inside is quite expensive, if you don't mind, you can just eat there. Homemade drinks are 35 yuan a bottle, children will want it. There are souvenir shops in each area, you can't avoid them. Parking is not expensive, it takes six or seven hours to finish without queuing! Day4: Sacred Heart Cathedral→Beijing Road Pedestrian Street→Dafo Temple→Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street→Yongqingfang We walked all the way, took a taxi to and from the hotel. This route is just right for a round trip. If you can walk, you can visit. There are small restaurants on the road, the food is not expensive. You can see the night view at Yongqingfang. You can go to Shamian after Yongqingfang or go separately. We didn't have time to go! Day5: Guangzhou South Station→Yunwan Meixing Hotel (Mingzhu Light Rail Station Branch) The high-speed rail takes one hour to Mingzhu Station, 65 yuan. I don't recommend this Meixing, it's too pitiful. It's a renovated old factory area and it's the same decoration as the Meixi apartment, but it's twice as expensive as the apartment. I suggest staying near Gongbei Port! Day6: Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom We followed its map, starting from the right side of the dolphin. You can see every theater. We didn't play any amusement projects, there were many people in line (and we didn't dare ). The food is a bit expensive, you can bring some snacks, but you have to play all day. We came out from ten o'clock to more than six o'clock. We didn't see the parade, because it was too cold, we left. We didn't go to the spaceship. If there are no elderly people and big children, you can visit all! Day7: Zhuhai Xiangwang Meisu (Gongbei Port High-speed Rail General Station Branch)→Lovers' Road→Zhuhai Grand Theatre→Zhuhai Fisher Girl The hotel is not bad, the service is very good, but the price is a bit expensive. We booked a two-bedroom room, the marked area of 150 is definitely not there. There is a very small children's playground. Take a taxi to the Grand Theatre and walk along the seaside to the Love Post Office, which is quite far. When the weather is good, you can bring some sand digging tools. You can eat at the City Balcony. There are many places to eat around the hotel! Day8: Macau Island Tour→Home If you can't go to Macau, you can take a look. It's more than an hour. If the weather is bad, don't go. You can go to the second floor for 20 yuan to drink tea and give a piece of peach crisp. I fed the seagulls with my peach crisp. On the return journey, I was allowed to board because there was a calligraphy performance. The wind is very strong! We had an afternoon flight, so we could go boating in the morning! In conclusion, it's best to bring a child who is a bit older. If the child is too young, you know!
