The playful and energetic brand personality of voco, along with the flexible product renovation requirements, perfectly matched the owner's needs for hotel upgrading and renovation! To enhance the hotel's competitiveness and optimize business channels, the owner chose to return to IHG and upgrade the hotel, turning it into today's Guangzhou Shipai voco! ❤ Recommended reason: The lobby is located on the fourth floor of the hotel, where it is clearly visible that the hotel is really busy during the summer. The front desk area is bustling with people, but fortunately, the efficiency is quite high, and the check-in process was completed in less than five minutes! 🍽 Dining recommendation: There are also the hotel's only two restaurants on the fourth floor, one of which is the Chinese restaurant Ziwai Guan. Its outdoor terrace area is very suitable for taking photos and checking in, with a strong Lingnan Xiguan atmosphere that makes for a high photo success rate! 🛏 Room facilities: This time I stayed in a newly renovated third-level room, a 48㎡ Xiguan street view deluxe room. Although it was recently refurbished, there was not a hint of odor in the room, showing that the hotel's deodorization work was very thorough! The layout of the room is very open, with floor tiles using Lingnan-style patterned bricks, and the lively voco style has rejuvenated this old hotel quite a bit, making the strong contrast of such a collision quite interesting. The view outside the window is the old Xiguan streetscape, with densely packed buildings, as if returning to ten years ago! The yellow and blue theme colors of voco fill the entire hotel, including the rooms, with the hotel's custom mugs and mini-bar cabinets looking very lively, and the mini-bar is free for the first round! The bathroom is not large and is equipped with a bathtub, but it does not feel cramped, and the one-touch fogged glass is quite interesting! 👍 Most recommended: The most photogenic spot in the hotel is probably the outdoor swimming pool on the top floor. It has a Xiguan style with a touch of European charm but is not large, and you can swim to the other side with just a kick. It is mainly convenient for families with children and for taking photos! It's very beautiful on a sunny day, and you can take great photos without a filter. The hotel's gym is also next door. After staying at Guangzhou Shipai voco, I was pleasantly surprised! The successful renovation of voco has transformed this 'old, broken, and small' place into a young hotel with a wonderfully whimsical spatial character and a relaxed and flexible design.
