I arrived at 17:00 and check-in was quick. Interestingly, the doorman took my luggage at the entrance, but then gave it back to me when I checked in. I didn't think it was a big deal, so I didn't make a fuss. 3. The birthday decorations in the room were very atmospheric. The room was renovated in 2021. It has a European style similar to that of Tianjin. The hardware looks new, but the wooden floor reveals its age. The room is small but not cramped. The toilet is a Kohler smart toilet. There is a makeup mirror and a small TV on the sink. 4. The room service is very good. It's the usual style. They don't keep you waiting too long when you call for something. Special thanks to housekeeper Lijun. She was very responsive. When we ran out of supplies, she immediately went to get more for us. She was very considerate. 5. The hotel's public areas are quite rich. There is a tea tasting in the lobby in the morning, and a sugar painting master in the evening. The swimming pool in the fitness area continues the hotel's style. It feels like a Roman bath. The gym is well-equipped, but not very large. It's right next to the swimming pool. 6. I also tried the hotel's Churchill Bar. It's a British-style whiskey bar. But if you don't like secondhand smoke, I suggest you don't go. The bar offers cigars, and the smell of smoke hits you as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is quite chill. There is a resident singer and you can play snooker. It's a good place for a drink in the evening.
