The 'Little Forbidden City' of Guiyang, Xiputuo Temple, is beautiful in every shot

Xiputuo Temple is a famous temple in Guiyang City, originally named Baiyun Temple. It was built before the sixth year of Kangxi (1667 AD) and has a history of over 300 years. It was founded by the great monk Xiqingjian under the Linji sect of Poshan. Poshan's disciple, the great monk Chisong, later founded Hongfu Temple on Qianling Mountain in Guiyang, creating two legendary stories of Buddhist propagation in Guizhou during the Kangxi period. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Baiyun Temple was destroyed by war. It was rebuilt in 2005, and the current abbot is Master Cangqing, the 45th generation successor of the Linji sect. The most popular building is Yunlou, which sits at the ceremonial axis of the park. It is the 'eye' and 'soul' of Quanhugongyuan Park and also serves as an exhibition hall recording the history and development of Quanhugong. Yunlou is 25 meters high, with a main wooden structure and a unique and exquisite design, making it a landmark building of Quanhugongyuan Park.
