There are many tourist attractions in Guizhou, but they are scattered. Driving is much more convenient. This time, we went to Huaxi for a 1-day trip. Huaxi is located in the south of Guiyang and is a picturesque tourist destination. Huaxi is famous for its fresh natural scenery and rich cultural heritage. First stop: Guiyang - Yelang Valley (50 min) Key point: Not recommended! If you are not an art lover, don't go! The ticket is CNY 20 per person, which is not worth it. 80% of the area is shops, and the rest are basically aboriginal-style stone statues. You will regret it if you go. Second stop: Yelang Valley - Qiantao (1 hr) Qiantao is a great place for kids. It is basically a place for playing in the water. We found the following places, and they are all good. 1. Yangmei Reservoir A large reservoir lake, suitable for fishing, but not very suitable for children to play in the water. You can ignore it if you have kids, but the scenery is very good. You can see the sky and clouds like those in Tibet. 2. Xunqian Fangtao Not as good as expected. The water is a little dirty, and parking is not very convenient. The highlight is that you can do pottery. There is a small bamboo raft on the water for taking photos. It is very photogenic. You can drink tea and chat by the river. 3. Xiaobaituo The most important part of the Qiantao trip is parking, playing in the water, and having a barbecue by the water. You can let your kids have fun. There are also few people. 4. Limu Village - Baidong River The road is difficult to drive on, and only one car can pass. It is not recommended for those who are not good at driving. However, there are few people. There are several places along the way where you can stop to play in the water and fish. The water is very clean, so you can play with confidence. Third stop: Qingyan Ancient Town Many people say that the shops in Qingyan Ancient Town close early at night, and you should go there before 5 pm. But in fact, the snack street in the central area is still bustling at 7 pm, so you don't have to worry about going late. It is very comfortable to stroll around at night when the temperature is suitable. Food recommendations: Siwawa, Yangyu Ba, braised pig's feet, Gaoba porridge Most shops have snack sets, which include all the local delicacies, for CNY 58. You can only drive into Qingyan Ancient Town if you stay in a hotel in the ancient town. Otherwise, you can only park in the parking lot next to the scenic area.
