To my surprise, I encountered the 'Eternal Su Dongpo' exhibition, which featured a collection of treasures related to Su Dongpo borrowed from major museums across the country, a real feast for the eyes. The Hainan Museum's Huali Wood and Agarwood galleries are quite distinctive, especially the Agarwood gallery where I learned about the latest technology. By infusing the fragrant wood with a solution, it induces a stress response in the wood, causing the entire tree to produce fragrance. If this technology is widely adopted, the price of agarwood might not be so precious anymore, looking forward to it! In the afternoon, I checked in at the Hainan Arcade District. I didn't expect Hainan's Arcade District to be so extensive, far surpassing Guangzhou! The old shop signs and slogans on the arcade buildings are well preserved, subtly revealing the history of the past! I couldn't resist the temptation of the old street's Hainan specialty products and broke my rule of not buying tourist souvenirs! I bought a huge conch shell, an agarwood pendant, and two packs of agarwood incense sticks. Tomorrow I will leave the island, bidding farewell to Hainan!
