Shendang Ancient Town may not be as famous as Wuzhen or Nanxun, but it has restored the scenes from Yu Hua's literary map. The old street restores the scenes from the 'Yu Hua Literary Map'. ▪Victory Hotel: "A plate of stir-fried pig liver, two liang of yellow wine... warm up the yellow wine for me." Xu Sanguan would always come here for a plate of stir-fried pig liver and two liang of yellow wine after selling his blood. ▪Xuangu Tang Cafe: Facing the Victory Hotel across the bridge, located under the big camphor tree by the river, with old tables, bamboo chairs, and rattan-woven hot water kettles, and the big characters of Shendang on the wall, making it a must-visit spot in the ancient town. Order a special 'Soy Sauce Latte', sit under the shade of the trees, and enjoy a peaceful afternoon. · ☑️Optional spots>> ▪Shendang Clock Shop: The 'timekeeper' of the ancient town, this shop has been in business for over sixty years, witnessing the tremendous changes in Shendang. ▪Official Soy Sauce Garden: The yellow wine Xu Sanguan drank probably came from here, with many wine jars and various large pots drying in the yard; lifting the lid of a large pot, indeed, they are drying soy sauce! ▪Shendang Granary: Transformed from the old Shendang grain storehouse, it houses a bookstore, a cafe, and possibly a bar will settle in the back, great for taking photos~ · 🏕️Other attractions in Haiyan ▪Haiyan Windmill: Come here in the summer evening to enjoy the breeze, admire the romantic scene of the sea and windmill together, and you can also catch crabs at the seaside~ ▪Nanbei Lake: Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side; you can walk, jog, camp by the lake; or hike up Gaoyang Mountain to overlook the beautiful scenery of mountains, sea, and lake integrated. ▪Qiyuan: A private garden hidden in the city, the filming location for the '87 version of 'Dream of the Red Chamber' where Baochai catches butterflies.
