Recommendations for visiting Jingyi Academy

Jingyi Academy is an ancient academy located at No. 1 Gushan Road, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It was built in the 24th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty and was founded by Zhao Shilin, the governor of Zhejiang. This academy carries the dreams of countless literati and is a holy place for them to seek knowledge and exchange ideas. It has a profound cultural heritage and a simple and elegant architectural style. The academy is located in Gushan Park. After entering the front gate of the park, walk up the mountain road for seven or eight minutes, and you will see the Crane Pavilion on your left hand side. Further up is the tomb of Lin and Jing, and Jingyi Academy is above the tomb. The academy does not require a ticket and is completely free. There are different beautiful scenes in each season, especially in autumn. The golden leaves all over the ground and the white walls and black tiles of the academy are interesting, and the scenery is beautiful. The ginkgo trees in front of the academy are arranged in a surrounding manner, like a golden barrier.
