Travel Guide to the Longjing Branch of China National Tea Museum

The China National Tea Museum is located in the picturesque city of Hangzhou, known as the 'Tea Capital'. The entire museum is surrounded by the beautiful West Lake Longjing Tea Garden, undoubtedly the only national-level thematic museum in our country with tea and tea culture as the theme. The museum has two main exhibition areas, namely the Shuangfeng Exhibition Area at No. 88 Longjing Road and the Longjing Exhibition Area at No. 268 Wengjia Mountain. This note mainly introduces the Longjing Exhibition Area. This exhibition area is located in Wengjia Mountain Village, a very beautiful village and a worthwhile tourist attraction. 【Transportation Guide】 Take bus No. 87 to the Tea Expo Longjing Exhibition Area Station. 【Opening Hours】 The opening hours are from 9 am to 4:30 pm every day, closed on Tuesdays, and open as usual on holidays. 【Tickets】 The Longjing Exhibition Area is open for free, no tickets are required. 【Introduction to Longjing Exhibition Area】 The Longjing Exhibition Area is a museum with the characteristics of mountain garden landscape, with a forest coverage rate of 70%. Outside the various exhibition halls of the museum, you can see more lush scenery on the mountain dominated by karst topography in the exhibition area. In the Tea Variety Garden, there are dozens of varieties of tea trees, including several major categories such as green tea, black tea, white tea, and oolong tea. The mountain is covered with exposed limestone, and oil hemp vines grow from the cracks in the rocks. In addition, the Longjing Exhibition Area highlights the greening characteristics of spring tea, autumn leaves, and fragrant flowers, with vegetation and flowers everywhere. On the mountain, visitors can rest in places such as Zhenyi Pavilion, Wencha Pavilion, and Chigui Pavilion. At the highest point, there is also a viewing platform tea altar, from where you can overlook the landscape of West Lake and the beauty of the tea garden.
