Located at the foot of the hills to the west of the West Lake, Nine Creeks starts from the Dragon Well and Lion Peak, and Yangmeiling as its sources, flowing towards the Qiantang River. If you are hiking, the route from Jiuxi Road to Stream within Streams to Dragon Well Village is highly recommended, passing through eighteen imperial tea gardens, the eight scenic spots of Dragon Well, and the China National Tea Museum. After reaching Dragon Well, you can also walk the Ten-mile Gallery, which is also the West Mountain hiking trail in Hangzhou, with a total distance of about 11 kilometers. If you are driving, the section from Jiuxi Road to Stream within Streams to Yangmeiling is more suitable, as there are parking lots in the scenic area, making the visit convenient. From April to November each year is the best season to visit Nine Creeks. If you come to Nine Creeks in summer, visitors might as well put on anti-slip slippers and step into the streams by the roadside for a wild experience.
