Lingshan cave; meet the bones of the Earth

As mountainous as China is, one would expect it to be just as cavernous, and almost everywhere you'll go you'll encounter whisperings of caves to visit but how many people actually go. I took a didi to a random road that showed where the cave might be, after a small struggle with passports, the nice lady booked me a ticket using her ID card. There are warnings, don't enter if you have a heart condition or pregnancy, if you're scared of small spaces of heights. I ventured in. It's like a playground for bats. The caves wind themselves under the mountain, large coloured light floods each room, bats flittering through above your head. Climbing further and further up, I eventually escaped out on top of the mountain, free to make mt way back down outside. Great for hot days, as the temperature inside is cool. #cavehike #staycation
