West Lake in the rainy season |

| . During the plum rain season, it has been raining heavily, and the Xin'an River has already opened 9 floodgates 😱, so I thought I'd come to see how our West Lake is doing. Early in the morning, I arrived at the edge of West Lake. Hey, there's not much difference from usual; the water level has risen a little bit, but overall there's no problem👌. The lotus flowers are still blooming beautifully, and there are just as many people exercising. 🤩 By chance, I saw a fish that seemed to want to 'escape'. It suddenly jumped high out of the water, trying to leap over the railing to swim into the broader waters of West Lake. However, it failed the first time, as it was too far from the railing. But it didn't get discouraged. It gathered its strength for a second attempt. This time, it swung its tail vigorously, leaped onto the railing, and with another flip, it fell into the lake on the other side, succeeding 🎉! Then it swam towards the place it wanted to go. What a clever and smart fish! 🐟
